I doubt I have much to say about the piece, the more so, as it pretends to be ‘pure music’. In this case, slippery way to compose a ‘pure music’ is to explore a basic phenomenon of realtime thwarting listener’s expectations. In other words, it’s a kind of pure music with impure material, balancing more or less familiar gestures with its unconventional syntactical distribution.
